Our Momentum, it is lacking...

We have taken to the Italian tendency for midday naps a little too well. This is perhaps because we are getting old. However, yesterday was full of epic adventures involving lugging heavy heavy bags through train stations, rather epicly. We were all so exhausted that a good nap in the middle of the day was needed. We finished our day by visiting the Roman Forum, if we could attach pictures there would be one of Sophie being Caesar and me stabbing her as well as Sophie being Marc Anthony and me being Cicero, perhaps on a Rostrum.

We are tired today because we spent the morning wandering around the Flavian Ampitheater, also known as the Coleseo. Tomorrow we will attempt the Villa Borghese, and this evening, if we ever end our naps, we will take a tour of some of the famous Baroque churches. At this point, I think we are all running out of steam and missing our own beds.

Ah but the churches will revive your strength and provide a good dose of holy spirit!

Sounds like it continues to be a great trip.

We sympathize with the need for sleep. We just got home safely from Colorado tonight.
